It is opening night at Grundy County Speedway. DJ Werkmeister shows up the competition and wins the first race of the season. Back out for the second night, a rumor flies through the pits that a target has been placed on DJ Werkmeister's head.

It's Midseason championship night and double points will be handed out to the racers. A driver accuses the officials of breaking the rules. Tension builds between DJ and Ryan. After the first race of the night, officials discover someone's been cheating.
