Within the landscape of a beautiful and surreal carnival, the “Museum of Wonders”, the beautiful dancer Salome learns that the dwarf circus owner Marcel has just received an inheritance – and so she soon marries the lovesick, diminutive performer, all the while planning to steal his fortune and run off with her true lover, the strong man Sansone. When Marcel and his fellow performers discover her double-cross, they band together to carry out brutal revenge.
